LISA
(lltj70)
My name is Lisa and I live in LaGrange, NC- in a little town between Kinston and Goldsboro. I am a singleton, having not found anyone that I could put up with yet (or is that –could put up with me?) and don’t have any children except the six hundred students that I deal with everyday in my job as a media coordinator in a middle school. I like to keep busy and until the past two years volunteered and participated in many different things. Then I realized that I needed to help myself- because I was miserable and hated my life and especially my limitations. As such, I decided on my 33rd birthday to change my life- I joined Weight Watchers, enrolled in East Carolina University for my master’s degree in Library Science (something I always wanted to do but was too afraid to try), and made a major decision to go all the way or else. That is what I have done- and I have never regretted anything! I have lost as of January 25th, 197.8 pounds and want to lose 72.2 more (some with surgery in June) and as of Dec. 10th, 2004, I graduated with my Master’s degree with a perfect 4.0 average (much better than undergraduate-LOL) I love to exercise and have found it to be a hobby instead of something I dread, I love to read, and I love to cook (it is fun to challenge myself to try something new). I am close to my family, who all live within 20 minutes of my home and my church (we only have 50 members- with me being the youth leader you have to be close). If asked my long-term personal goal? To work for Weight Watchers and inspire others to be healthy- because this program has truly saved my life. See my website at http://www.freewebs.com/lltj70/
