Crock Pot Chili

Servings—8; 6 pts.


1 1/2 pound cooked ground beef 5-7% fat

1 large onion, chopped

3-4 garlic clove, minced

2 cans kidney beans, drained

15 oz Del Monte Diced Tomatoes With Jalapenos

6 oz canned tomato paste

1/2 cup water

3 Tbsp chili powder

2 tsp table salt

1 tsp fresh oregano

1 tsp ground cumin

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes


Brown ground beef with onion and garlic until pink is gone; drain. Transfer to slow cooker. In large bowl stir together remaining ingredients; mixing well. Pour over beef mixture and stir. Cook on high for 3 ˝ to 4 hours or low for 7 to 8 hours
