I was born in 1958 in England, where I lived until 1999, when after 2yrs of coming to the USA, doing Antique shows, we decided to settle here and open a store. My husband John & I import containers of English Stained glass & antiques. We decided to settle in NC for it's central location & great weather. Our first store was in Asheboro, but last year(2003) we bought a property between Pittsboro & Siler City & put a building on, then moved out of Asheboro. We live in the country on 5 acres with a pond, between Asheboro & Trinity, long commute each day but we love our property.
I have 2 Daughters in UK one has a 5yr old & a baby due end Oct 04.
John has a Son & Daughter in UK, both have a little girl, DD's born Nov 01, DS's born July 03. He also has a DS who is over here with his wife & Kiera 5 & Kayden born May 04. They work with us in the business & live next to the store.
We share our home with Lucy our scruffy mutt, & Lucky our arrogant independant cat.
I have been on WW since Feb 03. After being diagnosed hypothyroid, I lost 53lb up to fall of 03 then lapsed & gained back 20lb. I re-committed in May 04 & this time will get to goal.
